Are these estimates exact prices?
No. These are planning ranges based on editable assumptions. Actual contractor prices vary by market, provider, pool condition, equipment, access, and what is included.

Pool Cost Planner combines editable ranges with simple multipliers to produce low, typical, and high planning estimates.
The calculators estimate planning ranges for pool maintenance, monthly service, cleaning, repairs, replacements, opening, closing, electricity, filters, chemicals, and common comparison questions.
They do not estimate exact contractor prices, site-specific diagnosis, permits, code corrections, hidden damage, financing, construction, or dangerous work instructions.
Low, typical, and high values come from editable range assumptions. The typical value is a planning midpoint, not a promise or quote.
Maintenance pages use service frequency, pool size, pool type, state assumptions, season length, system type, and annual add-ons.
Repair and replacement pages use a category range plus pool size, pool type where relevant, labor option, and urgency. They include broad parts and labor allowances but not diagnosis.
The electricity calculator uses horsepower x 0.746 x hours per day x days per month, then multiplies by the electricity rate entered by the user.
Quotes vary because of local labor rates, route density, access, equipment age, parts availability, pool condition, urgency, warranties, and what the provider includes.
Assumptions are reviewed when pages are expanded, when calculator logic changes, or when useful correction requests point to a range that should be reconsidered.
Send corrections to contact@poolcostplanner.com with the page URL, the assumption in question, and a brief explanation of the market context.
